Hire

If you’d like to try Cadet sailing but aren’t ready to commit to a boat, you can hire one from Fleet V! This gives you the chance to spend time in the fleet and see whether Cadet sailing and racing is for you. We have two boats which can be hired by the day or month for training and racing. You need to be a member of Sandy Bay Sailing Club to hire a boat.

The rates are:

• Beginner Boat (Sub-Zero): $20/day – $75/month
• Intermediate Boat (Legends, Drop Bears, Winning Edge): $35/day – $150/month

These fees contribute towards the upkeep of the boats. If the boats are damaged and repairs are necessary, we just ask you to pay the insurance excess of xxx.

Ready to jump into your own Cadet? We have a list of local Cadets for sale. These boats have, typically, been a part of our fleet for a few years and are well known to us. Prices vary on age, model of the boat and the availability/condition of equipment/accessories.
