2025 Optimist State Championship and Green Fleet Regatta

The Optimist State Championship is the Opti event of the year!

There is something for every skill level.

The Green Fleet Regatta at the Optimist State Championships is perfect for those competing in a regatta for the first time. Race Officer Ric Buchanen is the expert at including all our new sailors in the fun of a regatta.  Green Fleet also includes an on-water coach to assist our new sailors with learning the ropes during their first racing experience.

Intermediate racing is great for those who are ready for the big course but still learning rules and tactics.

For those who are more experienced, open fleet is for you!! The winner of open fleet will be crowned 2025 Tasmanian Optimist State Champion.
